Capitol Reef National Park in south central Utah is a somewhat little-known place. Within its boundaries stretches the 100-mile-long Waterpocket Fold, a great scar in the earth's crust formed by the uplift of the Colorado Plateau and subsequently eroded into the massive rock formations seen today.
